Opening early 2027

How old is your skincare?

Most manufacturers hide the production date inside the batch code. Type yours in and we will read it if we can. This works on anything you own — it does not matter where you bought it.

This cannot tell you whether a product is genuine. Nothing printed on a box can — a counterfeiter copies the box. What it can tell you is how old the product is, which is the thing most often wrong with imported skincare sold here.

Usually stamped on the bottom of the box or crimped into the end of the tube.

What actually tells you it is fake

No code can do this. These can — and they are read together, not one at a time.

  1. 1

The price is far below everyone else

This is the single strongest signal. Authentic imports carry duty and freight. A price well under the market is not a bargain anyone found for you.

  2. 2

    Print quality on the carton

Look at the smallest text — the ingredient list, the barcode block. Fakes reproduce logos well and fine print badly: fuzzy edges, uneven spacing, slightly wrong weight.

  3. 3

Seal, and how the pump or cap behaves

A new unit should feel new: an intact seal, a pump that needs priming, a cap that clicks the way the brand's do. Resealed and refilled units are common.

  4. 4

Texture and smell against a unit you trust

Hardest to fake and easiest to notice. If you have used the product before, a thinner texture, a different scent or a changed colour matters more than any code.

  5. 5

    Who you are buying from

In the end this decides it. A seller who will tell you which batch they hold and where it was imported from is taking a risk that a counterfeiter will not take.

We publish the paperwork

For everything we import we show the country of origin, the supplier, the importer and the batch — and leave a field blank rather than fill it with something we cannot stand behind.
