Our story

Anyone who has bought skincare online here knows the feeling. The price looks too good. The box arrives slightly wrong. The texture is not quite what everyone described. You are never certain whether you are using the product you paid for.

We started Nijer Jotno to sell a narrower range, from fewer places, with the sourcing written down.

What we sell

Skincare only. Cleansers, toners, essences, serums, moisturisers, sunscreens, masks, exfoliants and barrier care — from Korea, the USA, Canada and Europe.

No makeup, no fragrance, no hair styling, no fashion. A shop that sells everything cannot be careful about anything.

How we choose

A product is listed when three things are true: we can buy it through a supplier we can name, the formula does something specific rather than everything vaguely, and it makes sense in Bangladesh's climate. A rich winter cream that no one here can wear in June is not a product we need on the shelf.

What we do not do

We do not make medical claims. Skincare is not medicine, and a serum will not cure anything. We say "formulated for" and "may help" because those are the honest verbs.

We also do not publish invented review counts or follower numbers. If a product has four reviews, it says four.

The name

নিজের যত্ন — taking care of yourself. Not a transformation, not a new you. Just the ordinary, unglamorous business of looking after your skin, with products that are what they say they are.
